This series of studies was written over a period of five years. It began with the premise that words that contain a "lamed" the letter called a shepherd's staff, in pictographic Hebrew script, would all likely have merit to become familiar to those in leadership/pastoral/shepherding roles. I suspect there are many such words that remain to be considered!

The study on the meaning of the Rod, has been one of our most frequently downloaded articles for years at a time. Some of the studies are provided in sequence as each topic developed. The series on the meaning of restraint and nakedness led further on to the Poor, Blind and Naked study series. 

A few have been added simply because of their relevance to the topic:   Social-ship vs Fellowship; Israel, Judah Counsel and Rebellion, and To Whom are You Yoked?
